OUTSIDE POCKETS
16. Repeat Steps 14 and 15 to make the other Front and Pocket Piece.
OUTSIDE SIDE POCKTS
1. Layer (1) Canvas Outside Side Pocket on top of the Right Side of (1) Fabric Side Pocket. Place (1) more Fabric Side Pocket, Right Side facing the Canvas Piece. Sew the (3) Side Pocket pieces together across the top. Open and press seam.
2. Topstitch the seam with a 1/4” seam.
3. Line up the Side Pocket on top of the Right Side of the Outside Fabric Side. They should be even at the bottom. Baste the two pieces together with a 1/4” stitch down the sides and across the bottom.
4. Repeat Steps 1-3 to make the other Side Pocket.

ZIPPER
1. Start at the open end of the Zipper. Layer (1) Fabric Zipper Insert, right side down, on top of the Zipper and (1) Fabric Zipper Insert on the back side of the Zipper with the right side facing the Zipper. Line the pieces up with the outside edge of the Zipper. (If the Zipper is longer than the Insert Pieces, it will be trimmed later.)
2. Layer (1) Canvas Zipper Insert on top of the wrong side of the Fabric Zipper Insert on the top of the Zipper
3. Pin all four layers. Stitch the layers together with a 1/4” from the outside of the Zipper.
4. Fold Fabric Pieces back to expose Zipper. Press in place. Sew a 1/8” Topstitch down the Fabric Side of the Zipper. Sew a second Topstitch at 1/4”.
5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 with the other Fabric and Canvas Inserts on the other side of the Zipper.
